Izzy | You again. [Gina/Fons]

[Fons Van Der Noot] There was the signs of the beast riding slowly within those eyes. It may have been covered over by his will, but at this close it was quite easy to tell what he was. He slowly cracked his neck, from left to right. And when he moved his neck to the right, a large scar at the connection between his shoulder and head could easily be seen. A mark of what he truly was. He couldn’t help but wonder what she was saying.

“Speak plainly woman. I cannae understand what ya saying?”

Her accent was thicker than his, but then again he was trained in multiple languages, schooled to be understood. What kind of moondancer would he be if no one could understand his tales.

[Gina McClaren] *A tense sigh is Gina’s response. People stride past them on the sidewalk, give Fons room, crowd Gina. She’s jostled slightly, stepping sideways to be out of the through-fare. Singing.*

Jes Allo, reckon.

*Fons’ scar has her wondering, a curiosity that held her attention more than was perhaps wise. She considers the man a moment, jingling as she brushes long hair off a shoulder and offers reluctantly.*

Ah’m Gina.

[Fons Van Der Noot] “Gina? Hmmm? Well then Gina, where is your guardian? And does your guardian know you bumping into strange men on the street.”

Not that one would blame her, he was a catch for any kin whatever they may be. Even if she was of a strange tribe. The sound of her travel obvious in those jingles.

[Gina McClaren] Reckon me Guardian ‘as better thengs tae attend tae than makin certain ah can walk a path wi’ oot bumpin entae a felly, though ah’m Saerry effen ah mussed yer coat any.

*Chimes the strider, glancing around as though Soledad could be in anyone of the long shadows of the Mile. Which, if her habit of popping out at random to check on her ward was any indication, the uktena could be.*

D’ye ‘ave a name loves?

[Fons Van Der Noot] He looked down at this young woman, standing a full foot taller than her. Complete opposites it would seem conversing in the middle of the walk on the Mile. She was short, curvaceous and seemed to actually be upbeat even in this weather. Conversely he was tall, hard and strained to keep the very monster that dwelt within from clawing its way out.

“You are forgiven for your transgression.”

He lets his eyes wander over her form for a few more seconds. Even as they are hidden behind the layers of clothes, but he could smell it on her. Feel out her breeding.

“You may call me Fons Van Der Noot, or sir if you so wish.”

She was older than him, barely old enough to be said to have graduated high school.

[Gina McClaren] *She was forgiven for her transgression. That gets a nod, and a smile thats warm and intimate, even if it happens to fall away too quickly. Gina was charming, to be sure, but she was nothing in comparison to Fons’ nobility and air of outright class. He was younger than her, and his eyes, for all his regal bearing – traced the paths of her body that every man’s eyes travelled, Bonegnawer and Fang alike. Cold wind whips too long hair about and bites her cheeks as she regards him carefully.*

Nice tae meet ye Fons darlin. En town long, oor passin through?

[I see your eyes moving round, but whats on your mind exactly? per/emp]

[Fons Van Der Noot] His eyes run over her body still as she speaks, until they fall upon her own eyes…. watching him. He thought about not caring about what she would think or say. She didn’t even begin to think to slap him. Maybe she had heard about him already from one of the others in this city.

“Pardonnez-moi. Parfois, le loup en moi accable mes sens.”

He bow his head in a form of apology. His trangressions giving way. Watching to see if she recognized the romantic language. However….

“I am here in town for some time. Seems they could use some…. guidance.”

[Gina McClaren] [curiosity]
Dice Rolled:[ 6 d10 ] 1, 4, 4, 5, 10, 10 (Success x 1 at target 7)

[Gina McClaren] *Her laughter is as melodic and pleasant as her voice, pretty kin waving a hand in dismissal of his apology, other hand coming to rest on the exposed caramel of a collarbone, chill from the winter weather. The strider woman in front of him was a creature of softness and intimacy, presence raucous and warm even in the freezing Chicago wind.*

Well, reckon effen tha’s an apology “yer transgression es fergiveen”.

*A teasing smile playing across her lips as she catches Fon’s eye and shakes her head ruefully. Pleased by the company.*

Ets aulrecht darlin. Ah’m fine tae look o’. Ets tha touchin wha might gi’ ye en a spot o trouble. Sae wha’s thes aboot Guidance than?

[Fons Van Der Noot] There is something about this strider woman and her demeanor. That voice had something to it that was… enrapturing. If not for his upbringing and his presence around such breeding, this woman’s voice may have driven him into a frenzy of lust. However he had more control than that… slightly.

“This city…. need proper leadership. I am here to aid in that aspect.”

He held his tongue about the looking and touching. If he wanted to touch, he would. It was his right as a silver fang. It was his noble duty if it suited him.

[Gina McClaren] Ye dinnae set yer ambitions low, dae ye, Mister Van der Noot?

*Teases the little woman gently, leaning her curvy form back against the rough brick wall of a boutique that has long since closed its doors for the day. A dark eyebrow arching up as she fusses with her coat, trying in vain to cover her dress a little more, only to fail spectacularly. An impressive shrug of resignation, at least the canopy kept her warm.*

Mind effen we duck oot o tha wind Darlin? Ah’m freezin me tuppeny bits, an there’s ears aplenty round here, aye?

[Fons Van Der Noot] “What is that old human sayin’… Its not our greatest weakness that we set our ambitions too high and cannot achieve them, but we set them to low and we overcome them… or something like that. It is my duty to achieve beyond myself, my life’s blood calls to it.”

He watches her as she fusses and stresses with the coat she is wearing. He watches as parts of her caramel skin become more exposed to elements. The wind beating at whatever it can. And when she asks if they can duck out of the wind, he just smirks and offers her his arm.

“Lead the way.”

[Gina McClaren] Och, we;;, effen ye’re playin tha gentleman, ah’ll play tha lady.

*Her arm slipped through his with a warm chuckle, she leads him a very short distance to an alley, squinting as she peers down its shadowed length. Seeing nothing that spelled doom, she gestures grandly, disentangling herself from the Fang and moving to hop up atop a stack of crates. Her feet dangle, charms jingling as she looks to Fon’s expectantly, laughter clear in her eyes. This one was either a fang or the ponciest Shadowlord she’d ever met. The strider kin watched his next move with interest.*

[Izzy Montoya] (mind if I crash the party? :) )
to Fons Van Der Noot, Gina McClaren

[Fons Van Der Noot] He lets her led the way for the moment being. The alleyway she motioned to was just like any other alleyway that the Mile had. The city was cold and this may just give them a little comfort.

He stopped a moment at the mouth of the alleyway, looking down the darkness of it all. He looked to her for the moment and then back to the alleyway, almost sniffing it out for the moment before looking to her, smirking.

“After you, miss.”

Mischievous thoughts starting to play along his mind.

[Izzy Montoya] Gina hops on a stack of crates, after having peered down into the depths of the alley. Of course, there’s nothing to see, not right off, but at the far end there suddenly is a scuffle, a squawk, a muttered obscenity, and a whimpering cry.

Izzy would be the one muttering obscenities.
The person she hauls from the depths of a box into the open would be the squawk and whimper.

“It’s not enough, Bones. Ya fucking KNOW.” The man is hauled up and slammed against the brick wall, as she gets in his face, her hands wrapped in his coat as she shoves against him. He murmurs something, and she steps back, lets go, smooths his coat and pats him on the cheek. “Better. Don’t let me catch you on this fuckin’ side again. Get.”

And with that, she turns and starts back toward the street – where Fons and Gina are currently getting aquainted.

[Gina McClaren] *Fons’ smirk gets a raised eyebrow, Gina tilting her head as her boots scrape along the rough metal bindings on the pallet of crates. Down the alley a yelp sound, and the pikey is surprised to see Izzy assaulting someone. Alright, maybe not entirely surprised. Izzy’ll be on them soon enough, and considering not 10 minutes ago the pikey was nabbing every loose wallet on the magnificent mile, the strider kin seems content not to draw attention to herself more than she already had. She looks from the Detective up to Fons. Singing in a voice thats distractingly pleasant, for all its terrible colloquialism.*

Och christ, reckon there’s violence every corner o the cety lately. Present company encluded.
Would ye be insulted effen ah asked yer tribe darlin? Ah’m near certain ye’ve aulready sneffed oot mine.

[Fons Van Der Noot] He watches her as she moves up along the pallet of crates that were set in the alleyway, a vision of something that many men would yearn for. The woman would most likely have been on the pathway to a rather cold, but pleasurable night.

“I thought that my charm would give me away. Alas I guess I have failed at such, miss. I am what you would call nobility, a silver fang.”

They seemed to be have a fine conversation, possibly leading up to something else. Until the sounds of a brawl let loose from down the alleyway and his eyes look to the detective coming there way. Shaking his head.

“Verdomme vrouw, is ze in staat om deze ruïne.”

[Izzy Montoya] It doesn’t take her but a moment to recognize Gina – and Fons.

“Fuckin’ great. Jus’ what I need.” She tugs her gloves more firmly on her fingers, and adjusts her coat. The leather trenchcoat is unbuttoned, likely for easier access to her weapon, her cuffs, her badge. Underneath, the standard dress of one in her position – slacks, a blouse, nice yet comfortable. Business casual to some.

She tucks her hands into her pocket, and continues walking toward them.

[Gina McClaren] Tha’s wha ah figured darlin. But ah’d nae wan tae assume. Good way tae see the inside o those pearly whites, tha.

*So sings a pikey, shrugging impressively as she pulls her coat around her. There’s a dull ringing from her satchel, cellphone flipped out and answered. A frown and a heavy sigh as she speaks quietly to her boss.*

Nae! Nae Tammy. Ee doesnae wan tha services, ee jes wanned tae lecture me on providen em. Nae. Tammy loves ah didnae even gi’ me kit aft. Aye. Och fookit. Nae. Ah’m on me bloody way, put tha tea on.

*A look of apology is cast to Fons as she tucks the phone away, a wave goodbye to Izzy as the Get kin approaches. Gina hops off the crates with a pleasing bounce and tinkle of her charms.*

Ah’m saerry darlin, pleasure meetin ye, but reckon we’ve tae cut et far short. They’re aul Banjanxed an’ Buggered o me work. Need tae yab their collective maws o me. Ah’ll see ye round, wi’ luck?

[Fons Van Der Noot] He watches her as her contraption goes off, talking to someone he thinks was named Tammy or some other. Something about the service and what not and then she had to leave. Maybe 2 words seemed to be even remotely close to english.

“If you must go, then I will mourn our departure, until we may meet again, Gina.”

He offers her a toothy smile in return. As she walks off, he wouldn’t keep his eyes but to watch as she leave. Then to turn, pulling his trenchcoat closed as he turns on Izzy.

“Your still alive? And cheeky as before I see.”

[Izzy Montoya] Gina gets a warm smile and wave, as the small yet stacked pikey jingles off. She shakes her head, slightly, before turning her full attention to Fons. It’s no mistake that her right hand rests on her hip under her coat, though it’s looks natural enough. It’s also no mistake that her lips fall into a smirk, and she gives him a quick once over.

“Now why would ya think I’d be dead? Ain’t a fuckin thing wrong with me – I’m the picture of health.”

As for ‘cheeky’ – she simply ignores it.

[Fons Van Der Noot] He shakes his head a moment after she speaks about her not being dead. Almost as if she forgotten their last meeting and him almost moving up to smack her upside the face even in front of her police friends. If it wasn’t for Gabriella, he might have.

“I figured your quick mouth would have gotten you shot already, or one of your tribe would have snapped your neck for for your pertinence.”

[Izzy Montoya] “Guess ya figured wrong then, didn’t ya? Common fuckin occurrence, is my bet.” Perhaps she’s daring him to try again. Or she simply likes baiting garou. Or maybe she just doesn’t like to think anyone is above her – which, oddly enough, seems to be something they have in common.

“Seems you haven’t dealt with may of my tribe if you think that. They prefer their kin saucy, rather than weak and plaint. A kin with a fuckin backbone will give birth to more of the same, or some happy horseshit like that.”

[Fons Van Der Noot] Unnatural speed charges his actions, rage fueled movements make it seem like he was already in her face. And before she would even have a chance to draw her weapon on him, he would be on her. In her face.

“Tempt fate again and I warn you, you will be sorry. I will ensure that.”

His stare meeting her eyes without pause, pouring on the very rage that made him a monster to begin with.

[Izzy Montoya] He’s fast. She knew that he would be – it comes with the territory after all. Her hand barely has the time to slide from hip to begin the trek to the holster at the small of her back before he’s in her face, and snarling down at her. She continues the movement, even as she meets his gaze. She swallows, but instead of backing away in fear as he no doubt expects, she marshals the will to stand. her. ground.

“And what fuckin’ fate am I tempting? All you fucks are alike – some just bleed prettier than others. You gonna fuckin’ kill me, Snooty? That’d do nuthin but prove your fuckin weak…”

Fingers wrap around the grip of her pistol, and grip hard.

(droppin WP!)

[Fons Van Der Noot] He does not look away, even as she grips her pistol now. He is just in her face, looking her down now. He could see the fear start to creep into her eyes for the moment. And the beast rode high in his. But he would not relinquish for the time being. Run, rabbit, run.

[Izzy Montoya] He glares, and she feels it. She feels it in that way that she felt it once long ago, when she swore she’d never be so fucking weak again, when she swore then and there she’d never back down unless there was no fucking choice.

It takes an act of pure will, but she pulls her gun free, and lets it hang by her side, finger tightening on the trigger, thumb sliding the safety off. She’s aiming it at the ground – for now.

Fuck. You.

She takes a step to the side – she’ll move on her own terms.
