[Adara Mires] The night was warm, it was saturday and people were out in masses to enjoy the weather and have fun. Terraces were full, men and women talking loudly, drinking, dressed sexilly for the night.
In fact, that’s where she was, sitting on a terrace, near the sidewalk, dressed in tight skinny jeans, a nice tank top and platform sandals. Her lnog dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail, a beer in her right hand, the tribal style tattoo of her left arm completly exposed.
The space around her was empty, even though many men were actuallylooknig at the young smilnig beauty. She didn’t seem to mind or care as she drank slowly from her bottle.
[Marni] [sneaky sneaky]

[Marni] Sneaky sneaky. That’s the ragabash way, and that’s what she’s doing now. Sure, she’s a baby-daddy to make sure she’s kept and fed, but it’s never a bad idea to keep the skills sharp, the hands quick, the body remembering all the things they used to do. So it is, a curvy Gnawer streetrat is wandering down the crowded streets, while nimble fingers do the walking…
A casual bump, a quick dip of fingers into a pocket, a lifted wallet… then, with her best trickery’s smile, she waves the man back down “Scuse me sir! You dropped this!”
and she hands it back, and accepts a $50 bill in thanks.

[Adara Mires] Her eyes found the curvacious Gnawer. Myabe she has a detector for beautiful woman or most likely, she heard the familiar voice and it attracted her attention. She waves at her, calling out “Hey Marni, want to join me ofr drinks girl?”
She smiled warmly, then drank form her beer, letting the Ragabash decide if she wanted to or not. Maybe she had something else in mind that could be quite enjoyable too. Who knows?
She was glad that hse bumped into the young mother. She had a really good time with her on their first meeting and tonight should be quite interesting, she was sure of it.
[Marni] She pockets the cash, with a smug smile, and looks up as she hears someone call for her. An easy grin, she waves, and heads toward the terrace, and the Fury sitting there. she hops the little fence, and settles into the seat, and grins.
“Well ain’t this nice – make a mark AND get offered drinks? My luck is changing…”
She winks, and sprawls on the chair across from Adara with an easy grin.
[Adara Mires] She chuckled at her words “Aww come on. A hot looking girl like you? You must get drinks offered to you all the time” She said in a playful tone, motioning a waiter closer “What will you have?”She ask her and once she ordered herself another beer and Marni’s drink, the man move away
“What have you been up to hun? And how’s Indy?”She asks, genuinly curious and interested in her answer.
She lean back in her hcair, watching Marni with a smile.
[Marni] “Just a beer’s good – Still nursing, can’t overdo it.” She grins and pats her chest “have to keep the milk factory in fine working order. Kid eats like 80 times a day, I swear.”
Her favorite topic, Indy. “Growin like a weed. This Nanny thing, though – genius. Lets me get back out here, and Ray gets to work. It’s all good.”
She pulls a knee up, wraps an arm around it, her foot braced on the edge of her chair. Threadbare jeans show a flash of her knee under a rip, but other than that, she’s comfortable in a tank top and a plaid shirt, unbuttoned over it. “Hows tricks with you?”
[Adara Mires] She smiled at Marni when she talks about nursing. Lucky baby, she thinks to herself. Her smile widen when the woman talks about her son “I’m glad he’s doing good. We should definatlydo something with him soon..or have me babysit him. He’s such a handome boy”
She shrugged slightly when Marni ask about how she’s doing “I”m good. Ihave to investigate a guy that was involved in an incident that I was in on mother’s day. Also I had a meeting with Lukas earlier to talk about the Brotherhood. Beside that, still looking at pack possbilities. Other then that, it’s pretty quiet”
[Marni] She makes a face when Adara says she had to meet with Lukas. it’s clear he’s still not her favorite person in the world. “What about the Broho?” Curiosity, mostly, though she mooched many a meal there when she first got to town.
She nods at the idea of having plans – and absolutely beams when Indy’s declared handsome. “Isn’t he? He’s gonna make a hell of a spirit talker too. Rat adores him already.”
Yes. She introduced her baby to Rats. Why wouldn’t she?
[Adara Mires] She grinned when she noticed Marni’s expression but doesn’t comment on it “I’m in charge of it’s defense. I had ofrmed a plan afew months ago, there was some trouble with it..kin troubel..though Lukas wasactually still ok with it. Ichanged a few things, want to do some renovations to the building, making it safer and more defensible.”
She said leaning over the table, arms resting on it, to talk in a lower voice to Marni about all this. The she leaned back again “And yes, your boy is aheart breaker. Might actually be able to seduce me…not an easy thing” She said with a grin. He would be the first male to do so if he succeded
[Marni] She laughs at the thought of her sedction, and nods. “If he’s anything like his father, he’ll give it the good ole college try anyway.”
She digests the idea of defending the Broho, and chuckles. “kin trouble – shocking.” But its said with that winning grin again, as she looks up and thanks the waiter for her beer and takes a drink. she dangles the bottle from her fingers as she watches Adara. “He still holding room two like its his own personal terrifuckintory?”
[Adara Mires] She grinned at her “Sadly by the time he’ll be of age, I”ll be dead or a MILF to him”
She shrugged slightly “I swear I never lived anywhere with so many unruly kin. I’m amazed really” She shook her head “And yes and no”She replies about Lukas and room 2
“He spends most of his time at his mate’s or Katherine’s loft lately” She picked her beer and drank from it. Even though it wasstill neutral teritory, she considered the Brotherhood ers..not that she acted that way. She was the msot constant presence there and was in cahrge of protecting it. Kinda made it hers, no?
[Marni] “Nothin wrong with a MILF.” She winks, easily enough, and then settles to listen.
And laugh. “Unruley how? everyone’s definition is different – who stepped on your toes?” Her eyes sparkle with mischief, and anticipation of hearing some decent gossip – she’s been out of the loop far too long.
[Adara Mires] She grinned “Not when you’re a hot twnetysomething like you, there’s not. But I’ll be liek 35 to 40…though I really think I”ll be more likely dead than alive by that time”
She smiled “And Iwas talking about the opressed attitude some have or this distrust..Carter, Montoya, Slaughter..all probably were hurt by one of us, maybe more than one and their attitude influences others. I do liek them though, they’re good people but still. Then you have some like Amunet, ex strider now lord who’s just an idiot who wants to be one of us. She gtets in everyone’s face just for the hell of it. Most of the time she doesn’t even make sense”
[Marni] She snorts. “Amunet needs to be killed, before she does something REALLY stupid. She’s utterly ridiculous, that one.” She shakes her head, slightly, then..
“See, that’s the thing us Gnawers have, that ya’ll don’t. kin relations. An’ I don’t mean just fuckin, and demandin, and being all high and mighty and controlling. Folks round here? Lukas an’ them? are too interested in controlling their lives, they forget the kinda fight they fight, an’ that they’ll live long after we’re rat food. Our kin? Family. Our mama’s? A lot of em are kin too – an’ True. We ain’t all uppity on the YOU MUST OBEY bullshit. It IS bullshit. The rules that’ve been around for thousands of years need to adjust with the times, else the kin’ll be lost for good…”
She shakes her head. “Gnawers – we’re the lowest of the fuckin’ low, but we got what counts: [i]Family{/i].”
