| She had, once she returned home, made sure to walk the edges of territory, to re-familiarize herself with the boundaries, and even with the three fallen Fimbul Wolves that mark the corners. She has spent years patrolling every inch of these blocks in the green, on both sides.
Today, however, she has a mission. Today, she winds her way toward where Evan has made a space his own, bettering himself in battle, training so that what he sees as failure can be used to learn from, rather than as something that may cripple him in the future.
Her steps are even, strong, long, and she looks the same as she always has, even with the longer hair, the more toned down style of dress (that lacks nothing in style itself.) She, as is her way, says nothing. She simply waits for him to acknowledge her. |
